The best place in my house
Wir Menschen leben in Häusern. Das ist aber nicht überall auf der Welt der Fall.
Die Schüler/innen der zweiten Klassen lernten in letzter Zeit, dass es in Amerika durchaus gang und gäbe ist das ganze Jahr über in einem trailer zu leben, also einem Wohnwagen. Genauso alternative Wohnhäuser benützen Menschen im asiatischen Teil der Welt, sie wohnen in Jurten (Nomadenzelten). Natürlich leben Menschen auch in Baumhäusern und sogar Häuser auf Stelzen sind nicht ungewöhnlich. In diesem Zuge beschrieben die Kinder ihren „favourite place in my house“. Einige tolle Ergebnisse kamen dabei heraus und wir müssen sagen, wir leben wirklich nicht schlecht bei uns.
My favourite room in my house is my bedroom. It’s on the second floor. I really like my room because there is my comfortable bed, it’s a big bed!
In my bedroom there is also a comfortable armchair. I always relax on this armchair. Next to the armchair there are two windows - I can look into our garden. It’s always really hot in my room. When it´s too hot, I open the windows. Next to my bed there is a purple wall, I really like it. Purple is my favourite colour. Next to my armchair there is also my big wardrobe. In my bedroom is my new TV, I really like it because I can watch TV whenever I want. I like my bedroom. (V.H.)
My favourite room in our flat is the room of my baby sister because everything is very colourful. Inside this room there is a white and purple cupboard and a wardrobe. We have painted it ourselves. On the left side of the room there is a very cute, pink baby bed. In front of the bed there is one more cupboard with soft toys on it. On the right side in front of the first cupboard there is a tiny kitchen to play with. Moreover there is a big carpet and a really sweet rocking horse in it. On the door there are some beautiful paintings. I always play with my baby sister in this room. I like all the things in it. That´s my favourite room in our nice flat! (H.T.)
My favourite room is my bedroom. I always play with my friends in my room. In my room I have a desk, a bed, a beanbag, a TV and a wardrobe. There are special London curtains in my room. In my house you can find also a lot of other rooms but this is my favourite one.
I often tidy the room myself. Sometimes my mum tidies the room, especially when I get good marks at school. I think my room is big. My parents have a bigger one than I have. Every evening I watch TV but I also play PS4. (L.L.)
